Day 1: Arrival in Leh
Arrive at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport and meet your tour representative for a transfer to the hotel. Complete check-in and enjoy a welcome drink, then rest to acclimatize to the high altitude. In the evening, take a stroll through Leh Bazaar to experience the local culture. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 2: Leh – Lower Indus Valley – Leh
Embark on a full-day excursion to the Lower Indus Valley, driving past the famous Magnetic Hill, a natural wonder where vehicles appear to roll uphill. Stop at Nimu Valley to admire its barren yet captivating landscape. Weather permitting, enjoy river rafting in the Indus River. Visit Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, built in honor of Guru Nanak’s visit to the region, before returning to Leh for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Leh – Nubra Valley
Drive to the stunning Nubra Valley, known as the “desert in the sky.” Check in at your hotel or guesthouse, then enjoy sightseeing including a camel safari on the Hunder Sand Dunes, a visit to Panamik Village with its hot springs, and exploring Diskit Monastery, the largest monastery in Nubra Valley. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

Day 4: Nubra Valley – Leh
Visit Samstanling Monastery, a 19th-century Tibetan Buddhist site, before beginning the return journey to Leh via Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world. Evening at leisure in Leh, with opportunities to explore local cuisine and culture. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 5: Leh – Pangong Lake
Drive to the serene Pangong Lake (Pangong Tso) via Chang La Pass at 5,360 meters. En route, pass through Durnuk and Tangtse Villages to observe local life. Arrive at the lake and set up camp. Spend the evening exploring the lake surroundings, spotting colorful birds, and visiting nearby villages. Overnight stay in tents at Pangong Lake.

Day 6: Pangong Lake – Leh
Rise early to witness the mesmerizing sunrise over Pangong Lake before driving back to Leh. On arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy sightseeing including Shanti Stupa for panoramic views, Leh Palace, and the Hall of Fame Museum, dedicated to war heroes. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 7: Monastery Tour in Leh
Spend the day visiting major monasteries of Ladakh, including Thiksey Monastery, the largest in central Ladakh, Hemis Monastery, Spituk Monastery, Shey Monastery, and Stakna Monastery, home to around 30 monks. Immerse yourself in Ladakhi culture, architecture, and spiritual traditions. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 8: Departure from Leh
After breakfast, enjoy an assisted transfer to Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport for your onward flight, concluding the Discover the Wonders of Ladakh tour.
